you know, when I was younger, when I was a teenager, I used to be really cynical about computer-made art. I always harboured the belief that what made art 'art', what made illustrations work was the happy accidents, those little mistakes that kind of insert themselves in. Little unpredictable things, a slight uneveness in the lines, a not exactly even layer of colour. With the rise in computer generated images, more and more peeps were looking toward ultimate 'clean' art, perfect to an nth degree, each line painstakingly controle-z'd until it reached this razor's edge of perfection.
Yeah, I'm not really interested into those, haha. But it's still a thing that more or less happened.
But on the other hand, more nad more these pages are taking a lot of time on ye olde photoshopee. Like, it used to be that lineart would be about 60% of the work, and just colouring in things with photoshop, and that's it. But the balance has clearly shifted these days. This page for example, the lineart took probably like 20% of the time in total. The rest is adjusting and colouring and forming shapes with colours and a whole lot of little things.
But I like to think that this organic evolution still kept in the essence of 'accidents', for better or for worse.

Raocow, I agree. By the way, your art looks imperfect in the most perfect way, if that makes any goddamn sense, like beautifully chaotic in a way. Or something along those lines.
